TRUADDITIONS prefers the true design-build process as opposed to the design-bid-build process.

 

What's the difference?

 

Design-build is where one company designs your room addition around an established budget and then builds it according to that budget. The project is less likely to go over budget because the designer is also the builder and knows their own construction costs.

 

Design-bid-build is having an outside architect design your project and when it's done they get bids from multiple contractors. So often homeowners get 3,4 5 bids only to find that no one is within their budget. They go back to the architect, pay more money, and downsize their ideas and try again.

 

TRUADDITIONS does not send your plans out to be designed by someone else. We have our own in-house design and planning professionals who are experienced at designing according to your budget.
