A dormer addition is just like a loft addition except we raise a small section of the roof in order to gain valuable ceiling height. These additions are remarkably affordable since we utilize the homes existing foundation to support the addition.

When the ceiling is too low on one side we can evaluate if this type of addition is feasible to meet your needs and your budget.

Not all low sloping ceilings need a dormer. Many vaulted ceilings have sufficient height to build a loft addition. However, when the ceiling height requirement cannot be met and/or you really need the head room we can design and build the dormer pretty much any size to fit the budget.
