TruAdditions is led by Jorge “Rene” De Leon, our CEO and specialist contractor. Rene is a licensed general contractor, but the reason homeowners call him is narrower than that. He specializes in the additions other contractors turn down, especially conversions that add a floor inside a home’s existing volume.
You are not handed off to a salesperson and then to a crew you have never met. Rene sets the standard on every job. He owns TruAdditions, which means the person accountable for the work is the person you are actually dealing with.
WHAT 22 YEARS CHANGED
When TruAdditions started, a project like this took about three months. Two decades of refining how we sequence framing, engineering, and inspections brought that down to two to three weeks on most jobs, and a few days on the smallest ones. Faster is not the same as rushed. It means we have built this specific thing enough times to know exactly what it takes.
Every city permits differently and every house is framed differently, so a number quoted over the phone is a guess that falls apart the moment we see the space. We would rather be accurate than fast with a number.
